Terms and Conditions

1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Book24Care website, submitting an enquiry form, or engaging any of our home care services, you agree to be fully bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the client/user) and Book24Care, operated from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
2 Services Provided
Book24Care is a home care service provider that places trained, background-verified caregivers with clients requiring home-based care. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Patient Care โ Post-hospitalisation and recovery support at home
- Elder Care โ Geriatric support for senior citizens seeking independent living
- Dementia Care โ Specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia
- Paralysis Care โ Rehabilitation and personal care for stroke or paralysis patients
All caregivers are sourced, trained, and verified by Book24Care. However, we act as a staffing/placement agency and are not a registered medical institution. Caregivers do not replace licensed medical professionals.
3 Enquiry & Booking
Submitting an online enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking or binding service contract. A formal service agreement will be provided to the client upon:
- Assessment of specific care requirements by our care coordinator
- Identification and matching of an appropriate caregiver
- Agreement on service schedule, duration, and applicable charges
A confirmed booking is only valid once a written service agreement has been signed or electronically acknowledged by both parties and the applicable advance payment has been received.
4 User Responsibilities
As a client of Book24Care, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during enquiry and service setup
- Provide a safe, respectful, and hygienic working environment for assigned caregivers
- Inform us promptly of any changes to the patient's medical condition or care requirements
- Not directly solicit, hire, or contract any caregiver introduced through Book24Care independently, during or for a period of 12 months after the service engagement
- Treat all caregivers with dignity and respect; any form of harassment or abuse will result in immediate termination of services
5 Payment Terms
Payment terms, including rates, frequency, and mode of payment, will be specified in the individual service agreement issued to each client. General terms include:
- An advance payment may be required before deployment of a caregiver
- Rates are subject to revision with a minimum of 7 days' prior written notice
- Fees for services already rendered are non-refundable
- Disputes regarding billing must be raised in writing within 3 days of receipt of invoice
6 Caregiver Conduct
Book24Care caregivers are trained and expected to maintain professional standards. However, in the event of concerns regarding caregiver behaviour or performance:
- Clients must report any issues to our care coordinator immediately
- Book24Care will investigate and, where warranted, replace the caregiver at no additional charge
- Caregivers follow a strict code of conduct and are not permitted to accept gifts, loans, or personal favours from clients
7 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Book24Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
- Our total aggregate liability is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service period in question
- We are not liable for any medical decisions made by caregivers, as they are not licensed medical practitioners
- We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings of the client or patient attributable to third parties
8 Communication Consent
By submitting our enquiry form and ticking the consent checkbox, you explicitly consent to receiving communications from Book24Care via:
- SMS and voice calls to your registered mobile number
- WhatsApp and RCS messaging
- Email to your registered email address
- Any other electronic communication channel
You may withdraw communication consent at any time by contacting us at Info@book24care.com. Note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide you with service-related updates.
9 Intellectual Property
All content on the Book24Care website โ including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and service descriptions โ is the exclusive property of Book24Care and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
10 Modifications
Book24Care reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Book24Care services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
